After

Well, Cary and I are back home. I am intact, feel fine and had a very positive day at the infusion center. Cary sat with me until Bobbie and Donna showed up. They all went out to lunch while I dozed. They brought me back lunch (what I asked for, grilled cheese and a chocolate cappuccino). I am scheduled to get a med-port placed on the 22nd to use for taking blood and infusing the chemo drugs. Since I'm going to have to have use for a year, I thought it was well worth asking for.

There will be many trips back and forth due to PT, a shot for my immune system after every treatment, the treatments, seeing the doctor, etc. We received a perk today in way of a parking permit which eliminates the parking garages at $4 a pop, plus they are near the building where I have my treatments!

My sister's surgery is scheduled for Monday, the 11th. Until they do the sentinel node biopsy, we won't know if she will have chemo or not. Right now our hopes are still pinned on her only have a lumpectomy and radiation. Please keep her in your prayers and thoughts. Her name is Yvonne, pronounced Yah-von. No, Daddy didn't go to France!

Love to all,
Linda Gail
